Before you begin
Confirm that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked. Connect to reliable Wi-Fi and open the installation details in your esimnexo account.
Check your plan’s activation policy before installing. Some plans begin their validity period as soon as the eSIM is installed.
Install on Google Pixel
- Open Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
- Tap Add SIM and choose the option to set up or download an eSIM.
- Select the QR code option when prompted and scan the code provided in your account.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
- Give the eSIM a recognisable name, such as Travel.
Install on Samsung Galaxy
- Open Settings → Connections → SIM manager.
- Tap Add eSIM → Scan QR code.
- Scan the QR code provided in your account and follow the installation prompts.
- Give the eSIM a recognisable name so you can identify it later.
Using another Android phone?
Search Settings for eSIM, Add SIM, or SIM manager. Menu names and installation options vary by manufacturer and software version. Follow the device-specific instructions provided with your eSIM.
Connect at your destination
Within your plan’s coverage area, enable the travel eSIM and select it for mobile data. Set data roaming as instructed by your plan and use automatic network selection unless your instructions specify otherwise.
Review your home SIM’s roaming settings and any automatic data-switching options to avoid using that line unintentionally.
