- Connect to reliable Wi-Fi and make sure your phone has enough battery.
- Open My eSIMs in your esimnexo account to access your installation details.
- Check your plan’s activation policy before proceeding. Some plans start their validity period upon installation; others start when you connect to a supported network.
Keep your QR code and activation details private throughout setup.

Using another Android phone?
Search Settings for eSIM, SIM manager, Mobile network, or Add SIM. Menu names vary by manufacturer and software version. Follow your device-specific instructions to add the plan.
Connect at your destination
- Confirm that you are within your plan’s coverage area and validity period.
- Enable the travel eSIM and select it for mobile data.
- Set Data Roaming for the travel line according to your plan’s instructions.
- Keep network selection on Automatic unless your instructions specify another setting.
- Allow a few minutes for the phone to connect. If needed, briefly turn airplane mode on and off, then try loading a webpage with Wi-Fi switched off.
Manage your regular SIM
To help prevent unintended data use on your home line, turn off its data roaming and review automatic mobile-data switching settings.
On a compatible dual SIM phone, your regular line can remain active for calls and messages. Your home carrier may still charge for calls, voicemail, or SMS while you are abroad.
Keep your eSIM installed
Some activation codes permit only one installation. If setup or connectivity fails, leave the profile installed while you follow the troubleshooting guide or contact support.
Open a support ticket from your esimnexo account and link the relevant order or eSIM so we can help with your setup.
